BOOKING TERMS
PAYMENT
A deposit of 20% of the total rental is required at the time of booking. The balance of the rental, together with a 250GBP-security deposit, is payable 60 days before the date of commencement of the rental period. We reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit if the balance is not paid by that date.
CANCELLATIONS
In the case of cancellations the following refunds will apply:
More than 12 weeks before the start of the holiday – deposit refunded
6-12 weeks before the start of the holiday – deposit forfeit
Less than 6 weeks before the start of the holiday – total rental forfeit
Cancellations must be in writing and signed by the person who made the booking. The effective date of the cancellation shall be the date of the receipt thereof. If the property can be re-let for part or all of the period booked then any income received, less the expense of cancellation and re-advertising and letting etc, maybe refunded against the forfeited deposit or rental.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A deposit of 250GBP (British pound) is required payable with the final balance of the rental. This will be held against the cost of any loss or damage to the property and/or its contents and will be refunded within 10 days of completion of the holiday less the cost of any repairs/replacement which maybe necessary, other than normal wear and tear. The amount of this deposit does not limit client’s liability in the event that loss or damage is caused to a greater value than the sum deposited.
INDEMNITY AND INSURANCE
The property owner, manager, agents and employees shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage suffered by the client and/or their guests arising from their occupancy of the property. Clients and their guests are strongly advised to arrange insurance.
DAMAGE
It is the responsibility of the guests to leave the villa and its contents in good order and the furnishings in their proper places upon completion of their holiday and to inform the management of any loss or damage. Guests undertake to pay for all such reinstatement, loss or damage other than that caused by normal wear and tear.
USE OF THE PROPERTY
The property will be available to guests from 3pm on the first day of their booking and must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure. The clients may use the property only for the purpose of a private holiday residence and guests listed on the booking form and may not be sublet or assigned.
